The concept of the scarless closed approach transcutaneous temporal suture lifting is to lift the loose mobile galea and attach it to the stable immobile upper temporalis line, periosteum and temporalis fascia. Skin adhering to the galea accompanies this repositioning in a temporal direction, thus creating a facelift. To obtain this lift, the author’s proprietary curved semi-blunt, semi-elastic Serdev^® needles with different lengths and No. 2 or No. 4 semi-elastic surgical sutures are used to suture mobile to immobile tissue.
